SPENCER BEATY - BASKETBALL INSTRUCTOR

Spencer Beaty arrived in Maryville, TN as a dual sport athlete for Maryville College in 1995. Originally from Jamestown, TN, Beaty graduated from high school and spent one season (red-shirt) for the TTU Golden Eagles Football Team. Transferring to Maryville College in 1995, he became a valuable member of the Scots basketball program and found himself in the starting line up as a freshman, and going on to be Freshman of the Year. Beaty completed his career in 1999 at Maryville College and helped lead his team to 2 NCAA National Tournament Appearances.

Coach Beaty would get his coaching career underway by going back to Maryville College where he would spend 5 seasons as the Assistant Head Coach under Head Women’s basketball coach, Dee Bell (1 season) and then Head Men’s basketball coach, Randy Lambert (4 seasons). During that 5 year stint, the Lady Scots and Scots were a part of the NCAA National Tournament all five seasons with one appearance into the Sweet 16. Beaty has also coached at the high school level where he has led teams to multiple District Championships, two Sweet 16 appearances, and numerous Region Tournament appearances.

Charlie Munroe - BasebALL instructor

Charlie Munroe is a former collegiate baseball player. He played at Sussex Community College (NJ) and at Carson-Newman University (TN). He was a 2003 First Team All-American and led the nation in hitting that year at Sussex CC. During his years at Carson-Newman, he was named to the All-Conference Team.

He went on to coach at CNU for 8 years where he specialized in hitting and outfield. He currently operates Pro Concepts which is a high school prospects team. He has mentored over 50 players who have played DI to DII NAIA college baseball. He has also trained 12 players that have gone on to sign professional contracts.

GENO ANDERSON - BASKETBALL instructor

Basketball runs in my family. My father was a McDonald's All-American at Knoxville Catholic School and my God-father was the late Lewis Lloyd of the Houston Rockets. Being around both of them taught me the game at a very high level and blessed me to be around many great basketball minds. I have coached children to Pro athletes. I have coached in the Philippines, Guam, Brunei and the USA. I also played at a professional level in the Philippines.

CALEB DAY - STRENGTH & Conditioning instructor

My name is Caleb Day, I am an ISSA certified strength and conditioning coach, and I compete in strongman and Highland games. I began my fitness journey while enlisted in the U.S. Air Force where I was given knowledge on how to be a well rounded athlete. Now 10 years later I have gained more knowledge in strongman, Highland games, and powerlifting. I can’t wait to help you achieve your goals!
